Privacy Policy

RotoPools is operated by Eureka Logic LLC ("RotoPools", "we", "us") and runs draft pools for groups of friends at rotopools.com and app.rotopools.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Phone number. Your mobile number is your login. We use it to text you a one-time login code when you ask for one.
  • Name and optional email. A display name, and an email address if you or your league's commissioner provide one.
  • League activity. The leagues you belong to, your team, your draft picks, rankings, and other entries you make in the app.
  • Information added by a commissioner. A league commissioner can add you to their league by entering your name, phone number, and email.
  • Notification settings. If you turn on push notifications, we store the subscription your browser gives us so we can deliver them.
  • Technical information. Our servers log basic request data such as IP address, browser type, and time of request. We use it to keep the service secure, including limiting repeated login attempts.

How we use information

  • To sign you in and keep your account secure.
  • To run your leagues: drafts, standings, and league pages.
  • To send the login codes and notifications you request.
  • To operate, troubleshoot, and protect the service.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Text messages

We send a text message only when you request a login code by entering your phone number on the login page. Each request sends one message containing a one-time code. We do not send marketing or promotional texts. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. If you opt out, you will not be able to receive login codes until you opt back in.

We do not share mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are passed only to the service providers that deliver our text messages, solely for that purpose.

Who can see your information

  • Your league. Members of a league you belong to can see your name, your team, and your picks. Your commissioner, and members of your league, may see the contact details entered for you.
  • Service providers. We use Amazon Web Services to host the service and deliver text messages. They process information only on our behalf.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of RotoPools and its users.

Cookies

The app uses a single encrypted cookie to keep you signed in. It lasts up to 30 days and is required for the app to work. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. This website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.

Keeping and deleting information

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or your leagues keep their history. You can update your name and phone number in the app. To have your account and personal information deleted, contact us at the address below.

Security

Connections to RotoPools are encrypted, login codes expire after a few minutes and are stored only in hashed form, and access to league data is limited to members of that league. No online service can guarantee complete security.

Children

RotoPools is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the effective date above.
